Second Life: confirmed quest flow

Hotfix #3 added Second Life after Miracle Season. The official announcement gives three confirmed steps:

1. Complete Miracle Season.
2. Build a Composter.
3. Feed the Composter plant matter and wait for it to produce biomass.

If Miracle Season was already complete before Hotfix #3, the official notes say the new quest is granted when the save is loaded. (Official Hotfix #3 announcement)

Preparing for the quest

Keep plant materials available instead of consuming every specimen immediately. The plant growth and cultivation reference explains the site’s verified plant-growth boundaries, while the early flora and food guide helps distinguish food observations from materials that may have another research use.

Use the resource database and first-day survival guide for early supply planning. They do not provide a fabricated biomass recipe or a guaranteed harvest timer.

What the official notes do not say

The Hotfix #3 announcement does not provide:

• a complete plant-material list;
• an exact quantity for each input;
• a confirmed biomass production duration beyond “wait”;
• a full reward description;
• a complete Miracle Season walkthrough;
• a universal solution for a quest that fails to advance.

These fields are Needs in-game verification. Do not copy a quantity, reward, or timer from a different difficulty, an older build, or an unverified video and present it as current universal data.
