What are the current PC requirements?

The table below reproduces the current Steam listing checked on 2026-09-11. It is a hardware compatibility reference, not a promise of a particular resolution or frame rate. (Steam store page)

Does meeting the minimum guarantee 60 FPS?

No. The Steam requirements do not specify a target resolution, graphics preset, or frame rate. Meeting the minimum is not a 60 FPS guarantee, and recommended hardware is not a guarantee for ray tracing or every later region.

Check the exact GPU model and its VRAM separately from system RAM. If the game performs poorly, start with the known issues and troubleshooting guide and compare the current graphics and startup guidance from Frozen Way.

What should I check before installing?

  1. Confirm that the operating system is 64-bit and that the dedicated GPU meets the listed VRAM requirement.
  2. Leave at least the listed 40 GB of free space on an SSD.
  3. Update the graphics driver and Windows before the first launch.
  4. Keep the first-day survival guide and analyzer guide separate from performance troubleshooting; hardware requirements do not explain in-game resource or blueprint behavior.
